CHRISTIE WILSON
Having lost her husband of 29 years and law partner to pancreatic cancer at the end of 2010, Christie Wilson, the firm's managing partner, has been an active participant and contributor to multiple research fundraising events for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. She was a member/contributor of a Johns Hopkins University team at a Baltimore fundraiser and performed in the same capacity at a fundraiser in Raleigh, NC.

Ms. Wilson also contributes to Youth Challenge, the local Boys & Girls Club, the 2011 Greater Peninsula Women’s Bar Association fundraiser and the United Jewish Community biannual charity. Through Commonwealth Catholic Charities, Ms. Wilson teaches English as a second language to refugees from Bhutan. She is a parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and a member of the Hampton, York County and Newport News bar associations.

RYAN MARION
Wilson & Wilson's associate attorney, Ryan is regularly invited to judge moot court competitions, aiding in the training of oral advocates for William & Mary Law School in February and March of 2012, and will be doing so again in February 2013.

In April, October & November, he judged law school competitions at Regent School of Law in Virginia Beach. In July and October, he participated in Free Legal Clinics in Williamsburg and James City County.  In August, he was selected as a member of the Virginia State Bar’s General Practice Section’s Board of Governors.

He is a member of 3 local bar associations- Hampton, Newport News and York County and a member of First Baptist Church of Newport News. Last month, Mr. Marion was elected president-elect of the York County/Poquoson Bar Association

REBECCA LAWRENCE
Our paralegal/office manager, Rebecca is a member of the Kiwanis Club of City Center, a Girl Scouts volunteer, served the homeless at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, participated in Career Day at Coventry Elementary School and served as co-chair for their Bingo fundraiser. She also volunteers as a youth coach for Upward Sports & for Community Share Day. She is a member of Crossroads Community Church, and will be attending Regent University School of Law in the fall. 

Our firm is a yearly sponsor of the Hampton Circuit Court Relay for Life Team, "Court Ordered Cure," and this year sponsored Miss Norfolk in the Miss Virginia Pageant.
